Halloween activities within the Town Limits of Dagsboro only:

— Trick-or-Treating WILL TAKE PLACE on Saturday, October 30th from 6:00-8:00 pm (Rain Date on Sunday, October 31^st from 6:00-8:00 pm) with the following modifications in place for both trick-or-treaters AND houses offering candy:

1. Mask Wearing: face coverings are optional – not required.
2. Avoid Large Groups: groups that will be trick-or-treating should limit themselves to no more than TEN people (parents and children) to avoid large groups of people together in one location at any one time.
3. Sanitize: please sanitize trick-or treaters hands after every time they reach into a candy bowl for a treat!  For those putting out candy, consider handing out one individual treat or placing treats in individual bags to avoid contact.

— If you wish to have trick-or-treaters come to your home for treats, please TURN YOUR OUTSIDE LIGHTS ON between 6:00pm and 8:00pm.  If you do NOT wish for them please turn all outside lights OFF during that time frame.

Individuals who have recently tested positive for COVID-19 and who are currently isolating from others, as well as those individuals who have recently been exposed to a person with COVID-19, should not participate in any in-person Halloween festivities.  As the virus is still active in our communities, DPH continues to urge Delaware residents to practice everyday prevention steps: Wear a face covering, physically distance from others, wash your hands, and avoid gathering in large groups.
