Water Department

Water Account Billing Information:

Water is billed monthly at a base rate of $35 per month plus $6 per 1,000 gallons of usage.  Invoices are mailed at the end of each month, unless there is a credit on the account with a $0 balance due.  Invoices can be emailed upon request to dagsborotownclerk@mediacombb.net.

Water Payments can be made with cash, check, or credit card at Town Hall, Monday through Friday from 8:30am to 4:30pm, excluding Town Holidays.  After-hours payments may be dropped off in a sealed envelope to the Water Payment box on the Police Department building next to Town Hall.  Credit Card payments can be made over the phone, 302-732-3777, or online.  Please include you water account number (PIDN) and/or the property address for which you are paying the water bill.

Water Account Change Request

Any changes to your water account (i.e. new tenant, new billing address, etc.) need to be formally requested via the form below*. Completed forms can be dropped off at Town Hall, mailed to PO Box 420, Dagsboro, DE 19939 ATTN: Water Dept., or emailed to dagsborotownclerk@mediacombb.net.  Please contact Town Hall at 302-732-3777 with any questions.  

*Landlords will need to sign the policy and submit it, if we do not already have one on file for the property, before we will change a water account into a tenant’s name.

Our maintenance staff is available Tuesdays, Wednesdays, & Thursdays from 8:00AM – 3:00PM.  Hours may be subject to change without notice.
